Wini Group has announced plans to establish Nigeria’s first university dedicated entirely to Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Epe, Lagos. This ambitious project aims to position Nigeria as a leader in global technological innovation by equipping Nigerian youths with cutting-edge skills in AI, quantum computing, blockchain, and other emerging technologies.
The initiative has received strong support from the Lagos State Government, with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu recognizing its potential to transform Epe into a thriving tech hub.
Wini University is expected to significantly boost the local economy, transitioning Epe from an agrarian-based economy to a dynamic center of digital innovation. By attracting top scholars and fostering global partnerships, the university aims to replicate the success of the world’s first AI-focused university in Qatar.
