Themed “Redefining Progress: How Artificial Intelligence is Transforming DeepTech Innovation,” the event attracted over 5,500 participants from 53 countries, highlighting the growing intersection of artificial intelligence and frontier science tailored to African contexts.

According to an official statement, the summit, held on May 8–9, 2025, at UM6P’s Benguerir campus, featured more than 3,000 students and 186 expert speakers, underscoring Africa’s increasing influence in global science and innovation ecosystems. The program included 66 sessions spanning key areas such as AI, climatetech, agritech, and quantum computing, offering a platform for research exchange, investment partnerships, talent discovery, and deep industry engagement.
