Silverbird Group, a leading name in entertainment and media, successfully hosted the much-anticipated Silverbird’s World of Records (SWORD) Food Battle at the Silverbird Galleria. The electrifying competition brought together talented contestants, cheering audiences, and a memorable showcase of food, stamina, and excitement.
The Food Battle crowned Abia Emmanuel Chukwuebuka as the 1st place winner, who earned a grand cash prize of ₦500,000 after eating a remarkable 17kg of food, leaving just 3kg on his plate. Victor Okoli, the 2nd place winner, claimed ₦300,000, having consumed 16.2kg, with 3.8kg remaining. Finally, Daniel Sule, who secured 3rd place, walked away with ₦200,000 after consuming 15.6kg, leaving 4.4kg of food uneaten.
The competition was supported by Cimple Foods, Silverbird’s official partner and sponsor for the event. Known for its delicious African dishes, Cimple Foods provided the food used in the battle, ensuring contestants had a nutritious and flavorful challenge. Beyond their role in the competition, Cimple Foods extended their generosity by feeding hundreds of Nigerians in attendance, creating a vibrant and joyous atmosphere at the Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island Lagos.
