The Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) is making significant strides in empowering female entrepreneurs. As part of its partnership with Women in Management, Business, and Public Service (WIMBIZ), NBC has awarded an N1 million grant to a promising pastry chef and entrepreneur, Achiv Ngusurun.

The grant was presented to Ngusurun at the 23rd Annual WIMBIZ Conference held in Lagos. Her innovative business approach and potential to drive economic growth impressed the judges and secured her the coveted award.

Ngusurun expressed her gratitude for the support, stating, “This grant will fuel my business’s growth and empower my journey.” She acknowledged the crucial role of NBC and WIMBIZ in promoting female-led businesses.

Jolomi Fawehinmi, NBC’s People and Culture Director, emphasized the company’s commitment to fostering economic inclusion for women. “It is with immense pride and a deep sense of purpose that we present this grant to an exceptional female entrepreneur,” Fawehinmi said.

Beyond financial support, NBC’s partnership with WIMBIZ offers a valuable networking and learning platform for NBC’s female delegates and other young professionals. This collaboration aligns with NBC’s broader goal of empowering women and contributing to the economic development of Nigeria.Sources and related content.
