The eight-week online program, sponsored by Interswitch, equipped participants with critical software testing skills, preparing them for successful careers in the growing technology sector.
“Innovation thrives when young minds are given the tools to succeed,” said Muyiwa Asagba, Managing Director, Digital Commerce and Merchant Acquiring, Interswitch Group. “By investing in these talents and providing them with practical, industry-relevant skills in software testing, we are not just enhancing the software testing ecosystem but also nurturing a generation of innovators who will shape the future of financial services in Nigeria and beyond.”

The program also recognized top-performing participants, with five securing internship opportunities, providing them with valuable real-world experience and a head start in their careers.
This collaboration between Interswitch and FSI demonstrates a shared commitment to fostering innovation and empowering the next generation of tech professionals in Nigeria. By investing in youth development and providing them with the necessary skills, this initiative contributes to the growth of the Nigerian technology ecosystem and strengthens the country’s position as a leader in the digital economy.
