Hayat Kimya Nigeria Appoints First Indigenous Country Manager, Motayo Latunji

Hayat Kimya Nigeria Limited, a subsidiary of the global FMCG giant Hayat, has appointed Motayo Latunji as its new Country Manager for Nigeria. Motayo becomes the first indigenous Nigerian to assume this leadership role within the company.

In his new position, Motayo will oversee Hayat’s Nigerian business operations and drive the company’s growth and expansion objectives. His focus will be on strengthening Hayat’s market position in categories including baby care, feminine care, personal health, and tissue.

Prior to his appointment, Motayo served as Sales Director for Hayat Nigeria and West Africa since May 2016. Hayat, the fifth-largest branded diaper producer in the world, commented, “Motayo’s extensive experience in the FMCG sector, coupled with his deep understanding of the Nigerian market, makes him the ideal candidate to lead our operations in this strategically important country.”

The new Country Manager expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I am excited to be entrusted with the responsibility of leading Hayat’s business in Nigeria. This shows the company’s commitment to developing local talent and fostering an inclusive work environment.”
