Germany secured a crucial 2-1 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina in their Nations League match on Friday, moving closer to the quarter-finals. Deniz Undav scored twice for Germany, while Edin Dzeko pulled one back for Bosnia.

The win puts Germany on seven points from three games, two points ahead of the Netherlands, who drew 1-1 with Hungary. The two teams will face each other in Munich on Monday.

In Budapest, Hungary and the Netherlands observed a minute’s silence in memory of former Netherlands great Johan Neeskens who passed away this week. Hungary took the lead in the 32nd minute through Roland Sallai, but the Dutch equalized in the 83rd minute with a header from Denzel Dumfries.

Wales squandered a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 in Iceland, while Turkey defeated Montenegro 1-0. Sweden let slip a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 in Slovakia, and the Czech Republic defeated Albania 2-0.
