The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) has underscored the transformative power of analytics in human resources practice. At the institute’s 57th induction ceremony, themed “Strategic Decision-Making through People Analytics,” speakers emphasized the pivotal role of data-driven insights in shaping effective HR strategies.

Mr. Dotun Adako, Group Head of Human Resources at BUA Group, delivered a compelling keynote address that highlighted the transformative potential of people analytics. The induction ceremony also celebrated the achievements of the top-performing students in the June 2024 examination diet. Mr. Oladimeji Abdul-Warith Opeyemi was honored as the best-graduating student in Advanced Human Resource Management II and Nigeria Labour Law, while Miss Oluomoniyi Simisola Comfort emerged as the best graduating student in Labour Market Analysis. Miss Raimot Oreoluwa Lemose was recognized as the best graduating student in Advanced Employee Relations.

The top graduate of the June 2024 Examination Diet, Mr. Godwin Iorhom, received a N250,000 prize from Bezaleel Consulting and an all-expense-paid trip to the 56th International Conference and Exhibition (ICE) in Abuja from October 14-17, 2024.

Iorhom, in his acceptance speech, expressed his gratitude for the award and acknowledged the value of the CIPM program in equipping him with the necessary tools to excel in the field of HR. He expressed his excitement about attending ICE 2024 and gaining further insights from industry leaders.

The President and Chairman of the Governing Council of CIPM, Ahmed Gobir, praised the inductees for their commitment to professional excellence and encouraged them to continue learning and growing as HR professionals. Gobir emphasized the importance of ethical practice, strategic insight, and continuous learning in becoming impactful HR leaders.
