Bruit Costaud, a leading strategic policy communications and government affairs firm, has announced a partnership with NexHub, a non-oil export promotion organization, to significantly boost Nigeria’s creative exports to the global market.
This strategic alliance leverages the expertise of both organizations, aiming to position Nigeria as a global cultural powerhouse. Bruit Costaud, affiliated with the US-based Ballard Partners, brings extensive experience in the culture, tourism, and creative industries, while NexHub specializes in advancing non-oil export operations from Nigeria.
“Nigeria’s cultural heritage is more than just a resource; it’s our identity,” emphasized Lai Mohammed, Managing Partner of Bruit Costaud and former Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism. “Through this partnership, we are committed to preserving and showcasing the best of our music, films, art, food, and traditions to the world.”
Mohammed, who also serves as the Special Adviser to the Secretary-General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization, highlighted that this initiative will not only enhance tourism and investment in Nigeria but also solidify the country’s position as a global cultural leader.
Echoing Mohammed’s sentiments, Babatunde Faleke, Managing Director of NexHub, emphasized the significance of this agreement in reshaping Nigeria’s global image. “Our collaboration with Bruit Costaud marks a significant step in redefining how Nigerian creative talents and cultural heritage are perceived globally,” Faleke stated.
The partnership will focus on building platforms to empower Nigerian creatives, connecting them with international opportunities and fostering a thriving ecosystem for the creative industries.
This three-year agreement is expected to generate substantial foreign exchange, significantly boost tourism revenue, and effectively promote Nigeria’s creative excellence and cultural diversity on the global stage.
