U.S.-based non-profit organization, Brave Achievers, is set to host the inaugural Re-Invent X, Africa’s first artificial intelligence (AI) training summit, in Lagos this November.
The three-day summit aims to bridge the tech skills gap by focusing on generative AI, machine learning, and AI-driven business models. By empowering Nigerians with cutting-edge technology knowledge, Re-Invent X seeks to unlock new economic opportunities and position Nigeria as a future leader in the tech industry.
The summit will provide participants with advanced AI skills and offer a platform for tech enthusiasts, professionals, and global industry leaders to share insights and experiences. Pamela Olomola, the founder and Chief Experience Officer at Brave Achievers, emphasized the initiative’s broader goals, stating that it aims to address underrepresentation, age bias, and the skills gap in the tech industry.
Tokunbo Smith, a Chartered Information Technology Professional, highlighted the potential impact of Re-Invent X on Nigeria’s tech landscape. He believes that the summit can propel Nigeria into the generative AI era, creating thousands of jobs and establishing the country as a leading tech hub in Africa.
